Nothing new to the new versions of Visual Studio that are around? Anyone knows an alternative?

No, i did not. I am not in the business of testing software in a production environment for that - there was significantly no new build. Even if it works, this may be abandoned, and I do not risk that part of my business on abandoned projects.

This is why I ask. To see whether this has been abandoned. "It works" is not a relevant criteria if it is abandoned.

Excessive dormancy could be used to describe but not abandoned.

Version 2.0 has been built specifically to work with the TFS 2012 build workflow process.
